In the Castello neighbourhood, in Via Garibaldi, one of the most picturesque areas of Venice, Ca Garibaldi is a bright, modern and cosy apartment for 4/6 persons, very close to the market, to a variety of shops for basic needs, to a pharmacy, and at the same time is just 5 minutes from San Marco Square , from the Biennale, from the Island of the Lido.
Apartment Ca Garibaldi is a sun-drenched accommodation , completely remodelled and with modern furnishings. It can comfortably accommodate up to six persons.
The apartment is composed of a large living room with a double sofa-bed, a modern kitchen, a spacious master bedroom, a room with two single beds, and a newly remodelled bathroom with shower.
Apartment Ca Garibaldi is equipped with air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, traditional and microwave ovens, kettle, colour television, kitchen utensils, towels, table and bed linen.
Surrounding Area :
Ca' Garibaldi is on the main street of the Castello neighbourhood, Via Garibaldi, perhaps the most Venetian of all the city's streets. Here you will not just feel like tourists, but will be part of the everyday life of a city that is still alive and very lively, with the ancient sounds, colours and customs that make it truly unique.
But that is not all: you are just two minutes away from the Venice Biennale of Modern Art ; cross a bridge and you enter the historic site of the Arsenale where during the Republic of Venice the ships that made the city queen of the seas were built. A pleasant stroll along the San Marco basin and in 10 minutes you are in Piazza San Marco, the heart of Venice; or you can get there in one stop on the vaporetto, the public motor boat.
If you decide you want to take a break from the city's cultural attractions, one vaporetto stop in the other direction will take you to the Island of the Lido with its golden beaches, and where every September the Venice Film Festival is held.
And if you are interested in visiting the islands of the lagoon (Murano is famous for its glassmaking, Burano for its lace, and Torcello was the first settlement in the Venetian lagoon), from the Arsenale" vaporetto stop it is just a 25 minute boat ride to Murano.
