B&B Cavalcanti is situated in the middle of the historical centre of Florence, via Pellicceria 2, where in the old times many noble families, such as Strozzi, Tornabuoni, Pilli and Cavalcanti, had their private houses.
In the XIIIth century the palace was a tower belonging to the Cavalcanti’s family, whose famous poet Guido was a close friend of Dante Alighieri. We will be pleased to welcome you where once the old "Accademia della Crusca" was founded (1583) that gave birth to the first vocabulary of the italian language.
Our rooms, all different and furnished with antiques, offer a panoramic view over the center of Florence. Each one, with private bathroom, is equipped with minibar, satellite TV, telephone, internet service, sound proof windows and air conditioning.
Our guests also have at their disposal a cozy sitting-room, typical of a private home.
The owners of B&B Cavalcanti will be pleased to share their Florentine home atmosphere with their guests from all around the world.
