B+B Le Stanze Di Santa Croce in Florence

Our bed and breakfast Le Stanze Di Santa Croce is located at number 6 of Via delle Pinzochere in the histiric quarter of Santa Croce with its markets, small secluded gardens, artisan craft shops , and some of the best restaurants in town.
Still authentic, and just enough remote from the incessant flow of tourists, this quarter is well equipped to ensure a pleasant stay.
We offer four comfortable rooms perfectly renovated : La Martinella, La Treccia ,La Montanina and La Squilla are their original names, chosen in honour of some famous old bells that used to echo through the city of Florence.
La Martinella :
is on the first floor, overlooks Via delle Pinzochere.
It is supplied with telephone, air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
La Treccia :
The distinguishing feature of la Trecca is its beautiful flower balcony that overlooks the jasmine covered pergola shading the terrace.
This room too has a private bathroom with a big shower, hairdryer and all other facilities - telephone and air conditioning.
La Montanina :
The twin beds in la Montanina are original Tuscan woodwork of the 19th century.
This room, placed on the second floor, has two windows that look out on Via delle Pinzochere.
The private bathroom is furnished with a big shower and hairdryer. Like all the other rooms in our Bed and Breakfast, even la Montanina is supplied with phone and air conditioning.
La Squilla: And the most romantic of all the rooms is la Squilla; just below the roof, it receives light through two characteristic light-wells in the ceiling.
Supplied with telephone and air conditioning, this room has its bathroom outside the room itself, but for exclusive use of the occupants of la Squilla. This small inconvenience is highly recompensated by a big comfortable hydromassage bathtub.
Our breakfast is a rich meal of white or wholemeal bread, wheat bread or bread made from different cereals, fresh or toasted, spread with home made jams made by Mariangela herself( Our honey is biologically produced and season fresh fruit is available) served on a small but very pleasant terrace, with its fragrance of roses and jasmine, cool garden in summer and a welcome greenhouse in winter.
Throughout the day the terrace will always be accessible should you want to read, write or just take a rest there.
The fridge, close at hand, is fully supplied with fresh drinks and should you prefer a hot drink you can make tea or coffee as you wish.
