B&B residenza Strozzi is located at the bottom of Settignano ( southheast if Florence) in a area well served by several nearby bus line including bus N.17 which departs directly from the main train station in Florence.
The centre of the city,( the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Museum) are just a few minutes away by car or by bus.
B&B Residenza Strozzi offer to the guest two rooms : The Ocra Room : A large room with wooden floor and beamed ceiling, with magnificent view through medieval windows onto the glass conservatory and the park. (en suite marble bathroom with bath) .
The Salvia Room:charming room with wooden floor and beamed ceiling, overlooking the surrounding park and the city(private bathroom with shower)
Breakfast is included in the B&B rates and will be served in the kitchen of the owners villa. Guests can relax in the owners garden, in the park or in the private courtyard of the owners villa.
Dinner can also be provided in the owners large country kitchen ( with fireplace) or outside in the garden, or in the conservatory.
On request, Residenza Strozzi could organise the following for small groups:guided visits to the principal historic villas in the surrounding area, short walks in the nearby hills of Vincigliata and Settignano;nature walks along the Arno and in the historic gardens and parks of Florence;history of art tours including guided visits to the main sights of Florence; cookery courses covering Tuscan and regional Italian cooking.
The owners will also be pleased to welcome guests who wish to practice their Italian language skills, and to organise various activities that may be of interest such as excursions in the local countryside or make bookings for concerts, shows and other cultural events in Florence and in other Tuscan towns nearby.
