Villa Mafalda. From the heights of Capri Island, terraced olive groves cascade down to the sea. And there, just a stone's throw from Emperor Tiberius's summer retreat, stands "Villa Mafalda", the ideal island retreat. Villa Mafalda is ensconced in an acre of plush, terraced gardens, embellished by tropical flowers and a sensational, round-shaped pool.
From Villa Mafalda's terraces you can enjoy stunning views of Capri's west coast and its deep blue waters. Owned by a German aristocrat, this villa is the perfect venue for those seeking absolute relaxation – its special atmosphere is characterised by soft sea breezes and the gentle sounds and scents of lemon trees swaying in the air. "Villa Mafalda" was built in 1950 in honour of the mother of the original owner, Princess Mafalda, daughter of King Victor Emmannuel III. Recently renovated, Villa Mafalda maintains its original splendour while its interiors have recently been enriched with select materials and furnishings.

Further on, there is a large, fully equipped modern kitchen behind which you will find a small single bedroom with bathroom and tub originally built for the housemaid. On the right of the dining room, a doorway leads to a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. On the same side as the large dining room, another door open into a second twin bedroom with outside bathroom with tub. A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower completes the ground floor.
The first and ground floors are linked by an elegantly rounded stairway. The first floor contains a double bedroom with access to the terrace and an outside bathroom with tub.
